We are looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic finance professional to join our Finance team as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. This is a hugely technical role that offers fantastic opportunities for you to support a specific Business Unit in the management and analysis of their: monthly/quarterly reporting, strategy and day to day commercial activities.

The successful professional will ensure effective controls, processes, information systems and results are practiced, achieved and recorded to support and shape the direction of this key business area.,

  • Develop & continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast co-ordination

  • Aid and provide insightful decision-making analytics

  • Review & manage all reports produced by the team

  • Identification and creation of business reports to challenge assumptions and provide support to management decisions

  • Ad-hoc business performance reporting

  • Handling month-end, ensuring deadlines are met

  • Managing key stakeholder expectations

  • Leading a finance team of four and liaising with AP/AR/Payroll where necessary

  • Task delegation and setting internal deadlines

  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts

  • Build good working relationships with key stakeholders within the business to understand requirements & existing processes, and find ways to develop & improve

Candidate Description

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)with a solid track record of analysing numbers and trends within a low value high volume business. You will have the ability to communicate with, and make an impact on, all level employees from junior to executive by explaining financial concepts clearly and effectively. Experience in using COINS is desirable.
