Job Description

· As Facilities Co-Ordinator you would act as the ambassador for Mitie in supporting Mitie's largest and most respected community banking contract with an extensive UK&I estate which comprises of retail, offices, and critical sites

· Role will be site based

· Liaise with LBG site users at your given place of work

· Liaise with other Mitie service lines and colleagues ensuring that the One Team ethos is followed.

Main duties to include during hours of 8.30am to 5.30am only:

· Daily site un-lock and lock procedure

· Carry out daily fire safety checks and logging in line with regulatory compliance

· Carry out daily building fabric checks in line with site safety procedures

· Be responsible for severe weather management at site for example snow clearing and gritting entrance areas

· Carry out weekly fire alarm sounder checks in line with regulatory compliance

· Be responsible for order management and re-stoking of hot and cold drinks consumables

· Be responsible for order management and re-stoking of Multi-functional device consumables

· Be responsible for furniture management at site, for example setting up meeting rooms etc

· Meeting and greeting of visitors to site

· Verification of correct authorisations to attend

· Third party access management and control ensuring correct security protocols are adhered to.

· Monitoring of given site space utilisation

· Supporting site inductions and wayfinding for new user/visitors to site

· Sub-contractor management at site whilst they are undertaking their given duties

· Manage six monthly fire evacuation drills in line with regulatory compliance

· Be responsible for mail management at site

· Be responsible for escalating facilities management related issues where necessary.

Health and Safety responsibilities

· Always follow Group and company policies and procedures

· Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment

· Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received

· Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system

Candidate Description

· Previous experience in a similar role desired but not essential

· Ability to build rapport and relationship with site users and others.

· Enthusiastic personality

· Dedicated team player

· Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
