Authoring and editing of Environmental Statements ? Preparing EIA screening and scoping reports ? Manage and coordinate inputs from project teams and technical specialists ? Engage with key stakeholders throughout the EIA process, including the local authority and statutory consultees ? Attending meetings with clients, project teams, local authorities and statutory and non-statutory consultees
? Educated to at least degree level in environmental science or a related subject ? Ideally between 2-3 years EIA consultancy experience ? Membership of a relevant professional body, such as IEMA Key Skills: ? Good knowledge of the EIA process and UK EIA Regulations, as well as the planning system ? Strong written and oral communication skills ? Detail-oriented: Strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn more and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven team environment
About the EP&A team The Environmental Planning & Assessment (EP&A) team is a team of five within the Environmental Consultancy group. The Environmental Consultancy group forms one of the key Lines of Business within CBRE Limited and has been identified as a strategic growth priority for the business in 2021. The core service offering within EP&A is EIA consultancy; although, we also offer a range of other services, including EIA reviews on behalf of local planning authorities, environmental due diligence, Socio-Economic Impact Assessment, Health Impact Assessment, Social Value Assessment and Greenhouse Gas Impact Assessment.
