Job Description

  • Undertake planned maintenance procedures, regular checks, and routine inspections on equipment in conjunction with the maintenance team

  • Ensure the continuous operation of the installed system

  • Undertake repair and minor works associated with the installed services relevant to their job designation

  • Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment

  • Carry out personal risk assessments of maintenance and repair activities

  • Maintain and review stock levels, spares requirement through audit and timely ordering of parts

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with CBRE site Health & Safety procedures

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor

  • Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees

  • Assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment

  • Carry out AP duties and issue of work permits and isolation certificates

  • Carry out personal risk assessments of maintenance and repair activities

  • Maintain and update Health & Safety Records including Logbooks

  • Complete statutory compliance requirements

  • Action Helpdesk Requests and complete service reports and job closures

  • Complete necessary documentation for all completed reactive and PPM works

  • Be part of a call out rota

  • In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined

Candidate Description

  • IT skills including MS Office, data bases

  • Good level of written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines

  • Full clean driving license

  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of an integrated site team

  • Previous experience working in a similar building environment/business

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field

  • Recognised Apprenticeship

  • 18th Edition BS7671

  • Experience working in a similar building environment/business

  • Experience with Building Management Systems

  • Experience with electronic HVAC control systems

  • Customer service orientated attitude

  • Awareness of workplace Health and safety
