Job Description

Ensure statutory compliance is met with all the account's services and assets (electrical, LOLER, PUWER, Fire etc.). Arranging inspections, maintenance and subsequent remedial actions in alignment with set frequencies. To be the appointed responsible engineer for all electrical aspects. To be appointed as LV AP, conducting isolations and switching. Managing HV onsite through appointed 3rd party contractors. Technical support to the operations team with issues, breakdowns and procedures. To be technical support to the Technical Compliance Manager for electrical aspects. Liaising closely with the other SME's within the technical team. To provide regular compliance reports to stakeholders. To ensure logbooks are always up to date and audit ready. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance. Supporting RCA and CAPA investigations and processes. To attend training and actively engage with development.

Candidate Description

Desirable to be HNC educated, time served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent. Extensive experience considered as an alternative. Technical training qualifications in electrical engineering. (LVAP, HVAP, 18th edition, inspection & testing). Recognised H&S qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH). Minimum 5 year's experience in building services. HV switching of complex systems, experience using power management control systems / SCADA systems, writing switching schedules, experience of on-site power generation systems. Extensive computer literacy skills (excel, word, powerpoint, visio etc). Proven experience in holding technical roles of responsibility. Strong problem-solving skills, technically adept and analytical. Working knowledge of BMS and control theory. Client facing and articulate with the ability to own, manage and develop a service line. Good verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, with a high level of personal integrity. Confident at working independently, with an ability to self-start. Confident at working with all levels within the company. Organised, able to prioritise and deliver within a critical environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Flexible in adapting to changing priorities.
