Job Description

As one of our Carrier Sales Account Manager, you will work with strategic customers, such as MNOs or other carriers in the EMEA region to sell data, voice and messaging services. You'll be a strong collaborator and able to form great relationships with customers and have the knowledge of the market that will allow you to offer a level of insight that will inform the Vodafone Carrier Services Sales Strategy.

What will you be doing?

  • Identifying and pursuing new business and market opportunities to exceed FY revenue and margin objectives

  • Developing and managing sales opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.com to ensure accurate qualification and forecasting

  • Building sustainable long term relationships with senior level management and key planning and procurement stakeholders at existing accounts and targeted prospects in order to successfully deliver against plan objectives

  • Providing market insight and reflect market changes to influence and evolve VCS Sales strategy

  • Interacting with key internal stakeholders to develop and design/ implement winning propositions

Candidate Description

  • Substantial global sales experience in telecoms. Successful Sales track record with Service provider/MNO accounts selling Voice, Data and Messaging Services

  • Good grasp and working knowledge of Data Services including Subsea and Terrestrial, Ethernet, MPLS, IP Transit and Hosting/Co-Location Services. Knowledge of Voice and Messaging Services.

  • Aptitude for learning and proven understanding of important financial concepts, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of Service provider/MNO customers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence at C-Level, network at middle management levels within customer and partner companies and provide success with relationship management
