Job Description

Responsible for the provision of Data Centre technical services to both internal and external stakeholders via consultancy, project support, commissioning, account transition and mobilisation within the Data Centre Solutions organisation, across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)., While electrically biased also covering other disciplines where appropriate.

  • Delivery of data centre consulting services to internal and external teams.

  • Provision of expert consultancy, thought leadership, technical due diligence, audits, technical governance, project support, commissioning, account transition / mobilisation and generation of reports.

  • Provide technical and subject matter expert support across GWS / DCS for all data centre product categories/services

  • Support internal and external stakeholders on contractor, designer and vendor management.

  • Support internal and external stakeholders on providing cost saving solutions.

  • Support the development and implementation of global DCS specifications and tailor to represent the region (electrical bias.

  • Support governance to the entire data centre product life cycle and value chain including compliance with the product specifications and product defined operating/delivery model.

  • Support development of regional value propositions aligning to the client base, market and regional industry trends.

  • Manage work with the DCS standards group to ensure DCS product specification is compliant.

  • Support regional continuous improvement, innovation and customer value leading and delivering regional initiatives and opportunities.

  • Support new account transitions and go live including due diligence and risk assessment of the new account for ongoing day to day management.

  • Assist in the development of technology based tools to support the life cycle Data Centre product.

  • Contribute to a regional database of all product contracts, locations, metrics, etc and report based on agreed segmentation and product categories.

  • Support the regional product community to ensure connection, collaboration, communication and product compliance across GWS.

  • Assist the Data Centre Solutions teams as the product specialist securing new opportunities and growing account revenues and GM.

Candidate Description

  • 5+Years industry and product specific experience with increasing career and team

  • management/leadership responsibilities.

  • Engineering degree (Electrical) or equivalent.

  • Significant experience and specialist knowledge of Critical Environments and / or Data Centres.

  • Experience and knowledge associated with the full product lifecycle of Data Centre Facility

  • Professional Engineer or significant market sector/product experience.

  • Experience in the Consulting, Design, Project Management and Operational Delivery for

  • Business Critical Environments.

  • Previous experience in Critical Environment Operation.

  • Support in operations delivery in occupied and new data centre/critical environments.

  • Well-rounded knowledge base in workplace service solutions, including facilities management, energy and sustainability, workplace utilization, and / or infrastructure management.

  • Strong customer focus and relationship building skills.

  • Commercial acumen.,
