Mitieu00a0has a great opportunity for au00a0Duty Security Controller to join a well established Securityu00a0Team; the Duty Security Controller will be based within one of our prestigious corporate law clients within the City of London.Main DutiesTo record daily events in appropriate logs. This includes logs such as the Electronic Daily occurrence book (D.O.B), Safekeeping, Issued Access Cards, Lost Property, Car Park Log, etc. This list is not exhaustive, as there will be other documents to manage administration for.To communicate issues raised throughout the day to those in need of such information. The DOB, Incident occurrence, complaints, etc; are the sources of information that may need passing on.To actively monitor and action duties to cover Document Hub out of hours. Including Booking Office, dealing with Conflicts and new clients, Couriers, Dawn raids, Corporate Flats and booking rest pods for staff and clients and dealing with Helpline, Conference call and travel office queries.To cover all switchboard and Helpline duties out of hoursTo monitor CCTV cameras and Avigilon/ Thorguard system. Report faults to vendor. Send response to locations of alarms generated and record results/actions in electronic D.O.B.Ensure each camera has been checked daily, checking for deviation of original position, clarity of image and loss of image.Asset check on keys and issued equipment such as radios, ensuring signatures have been obtained and ensuring a timely return of such items if issued. Highlight shortfalls on Duty Shift Manager handover.Devise Duty Shift Manger handover in readiness for handover to oncoming shift, ensuring all criteria have been fully checked, documented, and updated. Ensure messages for on coming teams are communicated on the Duty Shift Manager handover.Ensure rotation of security team members and investigate any delays.Ensure check calls are received out of hours from our other site and investigating late calls and instigating response to u2018no contactu2019 situations.Give advice/information to security team members whilst they are on post if they require it. Be conversant with SOP, Risk Assessments, Assignment Instructions and Toolbox talks.Assist Access Control Administrator with staff processing regarding access cards.Book car parking requests if available.Assist during incidents and record all events/actions as they occur to ensure the manager compiling an incident report is fully briefed before report is compiled. Liaise with Emergency Services if required.Assist DSM with stock control.Regular checks of Helpline Assyst and email to ensure all requests are dealt with in a timely fashion.Assist Access Control Supervisor as required and cover during out of hours.Make call outs for various providers as and when needed.Arranging printing and archiving for all site documents.u00a0
Essential skillsMust have in date both SIA SGu00a0and CCTV LicensesSupervisory experience would be advantageousExperience on working within a high performing Security Control Room TeamPC Literate and familiar with MS Office softwareFamiliar with dealing with Fire Alarm systems, Intruder detection and Access Control Systems, Public Address systems and radio communication equipmentu00a0Desirable skillsILM Lv2 or above in Leadership and ManagementSecurity Industry qualificationsKnowledge of Incident Management responseGDPR knowledge in relation to CCTV.Experienced in the use of the Avigilon/ Thorguard system
