This role is to support our Sales transformation program with the special focus on how digital growth will affect our retail & distribution within our OpCos, and to ensure that we successfully optimise our channel spend whilst improving customer experience and our commercial/sales performance.
You will work with markets to develop their Channel sales plans (for our core products), provide expertise to evolve commissioning schemes that recognise cross-channel customer journeys and improve our overall sales effectiveness/competitiveness. In addition, for non-core products you will be expected to provide subject matter expertise on our distribution approach and strategy.
Keeping up to speed with all of the latest developments in Retail and Distribution strategies will be a key internal focus, as will ensuring a wide range of information from Vodafone's many Operating Companies are collected, understood and analysed in order to identify commercial improvements & opportunities.
It's an extremely wide ranging role, which requires both breadth and depth of consumer commercial experience with sales operations/channel management knowledge, a strategic mindset and ability to communicate effectively with Heads of Sales / Channel Management.
Roll-out of Smart Retail into EU Cluster Markets;
Pilot new Big Data use-cases in Distribution to create new insights with the aim to gain a competitive advantage
Drive the development of a Front End tool to manage our Distribution channels
Analyse and interpret trends in our A&R spend and discover new commercial insights to optimise channel spend & ROI
Channel management or customer Experience/ Online /Retail/ distribution experience in-market
Strong commercial awareness, including experience in developing commissioning schemes
Strong Analytical skills
Ability to work within an international and distributed team
Ability to quickly establish trust and credibility with senior stakeholders - internally and externally
Proven track record of programme management, overseeing successful delivery of on-time and on-budget delivery of multiple projects / initiatives
You must have:
Experience in retail /channel management and/or channel strategy at a large service or tech company and/or
Management consulting background with extensive retail/sales transformation project experience at tech or service companies
