The Emergency Planning College (EPC) isthe Government's trusted provider of training, exercising and advisory services in all resilience disciplines. We also support the development of UK national doctrine, guidance and standards throughidentifying and promotinggood practice, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Serco manages the EPC for and on behalf of the Cabinet Office, Civil Contingencies Secretariat (CCS),which isthe national authority for resilience and civil protection.We areexcited tobe hiringan experiencedDigitalMarketing Managertojoin the team andsupport the growth ofthe business.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the marketing strategy with a focus on digital channels fortheEPC'sdomestic andinternationalbusiness.
This is an opportunity for a confident and capable Digital Marketing expert who has experience across multiple channels including social, CRO, digital advertising and email campaigns. Understanding 'content is king' is crucial for this role, ensuring that EPC's message is always on brand and appropriate for our diverse customer base. Experience of writing content and targeting a specific audience will be key in the success of this role.
For this role we are looking for someone who will enthusiastically drive forward marketing activity and campaigns, from start to end. Experience of analysing data metrics from previous campaigns and implementing lessons to shape future improvements to maximise the reach and impact of EPC's brand, in addition to increasing return on investment is vital.
The EPC's modern teaching college is located on a very rural estate 15 miles north-east of York. This role will be home based (with some UK travel once it is safe to do so) and the postholder must be comfortable working remotely, working autonomously and managing their own priorities while being part of a geographically dispersed team.
