Reports to: Marketing manager Role Purpose: Coordinate all aspects of the digital marketing mix and assist in the delivery of the wider marketing strategy for the centre. The Marketing Coordinator is a busy and exciting role that works across multiple lines of the business which includes a variety of activity from helping to deliver events and digital campaigns. It also requires the liaison with key stakeholders and working as part of an onsite team to deliver integrated activity across all channels. Key Responsibilities
Be the marketing team go-to colleague for digital and social media marketing activity
Monitor web site and social media channel quality and availability, communicating issues accordingly to Marketing Manager
Create and upload approved content to the web site and social channels in keeping with marketing objectives and goals
Liaise with and assist the Marketing Manager in the management of the centre's third party digital agency
Liaise with management colleagues on content and delivery within the centre's digital assets
Take on responsible for digital delivery within the marketing strategy assisting the marketing manager
Actively researches new technologies to advance performance and functionality of the centre's digital properties
Strong understanding of reporting and Analytics in order to produce monthly reports and annual reviews for performance measurement
Participates in the development and acceptance testing of digital programmes within the centre
Provide support to the Marketing team for events and in-centre activities.
Basic ability to use code, working with our website provider.
Provide pre- scheduled out of hours cover for social media in keeping with monitoring targets set out by Marketing Manager. Duties shared by the marketing team and external agencies.
Proven ability to navigate the digital needs of a complex business such as a UK top 20 shopping centre.
Creative thinker with ability to implement agreed digital strategies
Ability to demonstrate an ability to create persuasive and compelling recommendations for digital innovation
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of SEO related to both content and digital marketing technology
Strong Social Media Knowledge & Writing Skills and experience of programmes such as Hootsuite, Splinter,
Familiar with content marketing aspects including building audiences, creative writing, platform management, SEO, social, analytics
Understanding of Information Architecture, usability, and creative design concepts Education and Experience
A minimum of 4 year-education in a relevant field, e.g., marketing, communication, public relations, economics, commerce
2 years+ experience in a marketing team with responsibility for digital/social media channels
Experience with CMS systems and Google Analytics a plus
Advanced skills with Microsoft office and Photoshop, Adobe CS suite Preferred Requirements
