Role Description: Reporting to the Communications and End User Services Team Leader, this role will provide technical expertise and manage a small team of ICT engineers to provide all end-user device services across various platforms connected to device management and deployment. The role will act as senior Subject Matter Expert for projects and development in this area, as well as business-as-usual operations support. You will be able to guide and mentor junior members of the team and advising on strategy as appropriate.
Significant practical experience working with Microsoft SCCM application packaging and deployment at enterprise scale
Significant practical experience working with Microsoft SCCM to create and maintain bare-metal device images at enterprise scale.
Significant practical experience working with Microsoft Intune for Windows 10 device management at enterprise scale
Significant practical experience managing updates for Windows 10 and Office via SCCM and Intune
Significant practical experience working with Microsoft Autopilot for remote device onboarding at enterprise scale
Practical experience with BYOD environments
Practical experience deploying, supporting and optimizing virtual desktop environments at enterprise scale
Either wide experience of the platform or deep knowledge of select components of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.
Significant experience managing and leading a team of skilled technical colleagues. Person Specification:
