We are looking for a smart, energetic, and highly organised individual to join the Delivery Operations team to drive the performance of our key brands. This person will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and accountable for leading the execution of these initiatives. They will take a data driven approach and collaborate closely across stakeholders both internally and externally to coordinate actions and drive impact for the branded restaurant partners and our customers, The UK Delivery Operations Manager will work closely with Just Eat's UK Delivery Operations team to support the development of world-class delivery experience for our key branded restaurant partners. Primarily:

  • Take a structured and data driven approach to managing delivery performance for the brands, and provide clarity and visibility of performance to key stakeholders

  • Deep dive into operational issues e.g. at brand, zone or restaurant partner level and drive timely resolution

  • Proactively identify opportunities and work with internal teams and stakeholders to address and track progress of these

  • Communicating updates regularly and concisely, identifying risks and bottlenecks, influencing relevant stakeholders to solve or overcome obstacles

  • Liaising very closely with the Strategic Accounts and Planning teams to shape the delivery road-map for the brands

  • Support new marketing initiatives, helping to shape proposals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the brands in terms of delivery performance

  • Point of contact for the brands for anything related to delivery operations and ensuring any queries or escalations are resolved in a time manner

  • Representing delivery operations as part of the key Brand review sessions - leading performance reviews and sharing plans, as well as helping to drive the delivery agenda.

Candidate Description

The successful candidate will have experience in supporting an operation in a fast-paced high-growth start-up environment. They will be adept at balancing analytics with pragmatism, diving deep to uncover facts and combining relevant internal as well as competitive data to aid the Delivery Operations team and wider stakeholders in identifying emerging issues, proposing solutions, making decisions and tracking results. This candidate will have a passion for continuous data and process driven operational improvement., The ideal candidate will be highly organised and detail-oriented, possess superior analytical and communication skills, and be comfortable working pragmatically in a fast-paced innovative climate, knowing when to make progress independently and when to seek out key input from relevant players. Good stakeholder management skills are key Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record for

  • Fluency in G-suite (Tableau is also a plus)

  • Strong analytical skills and experience handling large datasets

  • Leading key initiatives and executing time-bound tasks correctly and on time

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple work-streams, and seek input on prioritisation when needed

  • Proactive and clear communication across different internal and external audiences including senior management

  • Adaptability at influencing a range of key internal and external stakeholders, representing Just Eat's interests throughout but creating win-win outcomes
