Job Description

As a Data & Insights Manager you will lead the data journey by providing data-driven business insights designed to drive action and create value. Within the role, you will design and deliver analytics & insights and provide full visibility of business performance to the leadership teams within respective functions. You will help shape, enhance and manage the KPI portfolio and reporting framework across the business in line with VBP&S strategic goals. The role requires passion for creative thought and out of the box thinking. The role will benefit from someone who can exhibit entrepreneurial and innovative traits who understands how data can be used to improve business outcomes by working with a wide range of business stakeholders.

As a 'Business Translator', you will establish yourself as a key interface between strategy, technology and data having a keen interest in functional business processes and capabilities. Working across senior and functional stakeholders, coupled with your passion for data, advanced analytics & insights, you will act as a "Business Influencer" to coach & enable the business in fact-based, data-driven decision-making driving business value & performance. You will be a key interface into the Data Science team and will work with them to develop AI use cases to help inform business strategy & decision-making.

Candidate Description

Experience required 4-6 years in analytics, data management and transformation, data visualisation, data modelling

Understanding of data architecture & design within a DevOps environment including relevant software development skills & APIs

Team player with the ability to provide informal guidance & directions to more junior staff within own discipline

Self-motivated, self-starter and professional & ability to drive innovation within the data & insights discipline

Strong problem-solving, analytical skills with ability to challenge, advise & coach

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Very strong communication & persuasion skills to influence stakeholders at all levels

Strong business & commercial acumen

Degree level in data analytics, statistics, finance or related numerical qualification

Comprehensive knowledge & application of SAFE Agile & LPM frameworks
