To Plan, manage and implement the delivery of engineering services to site ensuring that the highest standard of operational performance is maintained at all times.
Provide engineering advice and guidance in general on property matters affecting the on-going management and development of Critical environments.
To provide Strong leadership and direction and to develop the engineering excellence on the site using the Resilience model for critical engineering.
To oversee all new projects and the commissioning of new sign offs of new assets on site.
Implement a positive health and safety culture
To create, manage and develop engineering and maintenance best practice to protect site operations
To ensure Resilience is fully instigated and operated on site
To ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with client and company policies and procedures and within health and safety legislative requirements
Assist in ensuring contractually agreed KPI's / SLA's are met or exceeded
Assist in management of the engineering team and be responsible for performance management, recruitment, development and appraisals, succession plans and team welfare
Responsible for all statutory compliance, including water treatment and closed systems
Supervising all operational and maintenance activities, to ensure work is executed in a safe and suitable manner and complies with SLA's
To provide management information/reporting as required to both client and internal management
Responsible for incident management and subsequent investigation to establish root cause.
Write, submit and drive through to approval, change requests needed to complete critical planned maintenance activities
Ensuring the maintenance of accurate plant records, information and reporting systems
Continuous improvement delivered in all service lines
Maintain good team communications and high level of morale
Customer Service to the standard, or higher than, specified in the Service Level Agreement
Active attendance and involvement in site and individual training and development
Ensure and monitor good quality workmanship and discipline,
Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities;
Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
Report actual and suspected security incidents;

IOSH Managing Safely certificate or equivalent
Hold a relevant NVQ 3 technical qualification
Experience in the operation and maintenance of critical engineering systems and understands the full range of M & E equipment in a modern critical environment
Professional and strategic approach to management of works and projects
Analytical skills to interpret client requirements and produce desired results
Ability to work under pressure
Customer focussed and respectful to promote healthy working relationship
Promotes high level of team working and development of team spirit
Sound knowledge of all aspects of Health & safety
