To oversee the site security team, report to Security Manager if all contracted and temporary hours are not to be fulfilled to the complete satisfaction of the client.
To assist the Security Manager with the retention of the contract - the security team is key to the business and through total quality management; this must be a primary objective of the site TSM management team.
Ensure that the site is managed to the agreed levels; reporting issues or concerns to the Security Manager in a timely fashion.
To proactively demonstrate and work to the Company's values, act as an ambassador for Mitie Security at all times.
Ensure all contractual commitments are honoured and if there is any failure be the first to advise the Security Manager. Any complaints must be logged in accordance with the quality system and reported to the Security Manager in a timely and effective manner - these must be logged as required on the assignment.
Training and development
In support of the Security Manager, monitor security officer's performance and report any concerns to the Security Manager in a timely fashion.
Support the Security Manager in providing and monitoring site training

Manage security and emergency incidents
Ensure the correct and appropriate operation of security systems and procedures are adhered to
Constantly assessing risk and taking appropriate measures to deal with that risk
Manage the staff on site to ensure that the operational delivery of the service is maintained to the highest agreed standard and to the complete satisfaction of the client. All issues need to be raised with the Security Manager in a timely fashion.
Provide assistance to all staff that have welfare requirements - report to the Security Manager in a timely fashion.
Support the organisation in any way deemed necessary as required by the Security Manager
Provide the assurance of a professional and high quality security operation
Liaise closely with the Security Manager to ensure that they are aware of any changing requirements of the contract
Provide information on activity on site relevant to the teams performance, on-going issues and future development opportunities to the Security Manager in a timely fashion.
Make sure that all site instructions must be adhered to by the security team
