What will you be doing?

You will ensure that cost-justifiable IT capacity in all areas of IT always exists and is matched to the current and future agreed needs of the business, in a timely manner. In addition to this, you will manage assets, particularly those assets that are vital to the running of the customer's or organisation's business that account for all IT assets and services and provide accurate information to support all the other processes.

Candidate Description

  • Knowledge of Capacity Planning within Transmission and IP network and related hardware/software.

  • Knowledge of asset and configuration management within large Transmission and IP networks and related hardware/software.

  • Sufficient understanding of the telecommunication technologies to be able to ensure that all assets are accounted for, their configurations recorded and audited and that the configuration standards are correctly adhered to.

  • NB You will need to be eligible for SC clearance to be considered for this vacancy, the criteria to undertake vetting requires 5 years UK residency
