Tesco Maintenance have a great opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to work as part of our Maintenance Support team. We're open on location - some travel will be needed but you could work out of one of our offices or flexibly from home. At Tesco, our stores and offices couldn't function without the support of our Maintenance Team. A Communications and Engagement Advisor for Tesco Maintenance provides clear and timely communication to colleagues in maintenance helping them feel informed, valued and engaged.,
Working with the Comms & Engagement manager on the creation and embedding of an internal communication plan
Developing communication campaigns for key colleague activity e.g. roadshows, forums and every voice matters.
Gathering input and writing the weekly Team 5 which is shared with c. 200 managers in the team.
Editing videos and podcasts to bring to life the maintenance plan.
Using different channels to best engage the team on key activity and messages.
Keeping the teams thinking fresh and on brand; agitating where needed.
Making sure our messages are consistent across all our channels (e.g SharePoint, Our Tesco).
Working with Group Communications to ensure we're on the front foot with communication to our colleagues.
Using social media to raise awareness of Maintenance both externally and internally.
Preparing presentations for the maintenance leadership team that help engage the team on the work we're doing.
Updating the team on planned activities, progress and opportunities.
Seeking out, listening and responding to feedback from managers and colleagues.
Co-ordinating roadshows and other events for colleagues in maintenance; c.1900 colleagues.
Facilitating Property leadership team meetings.
Maintaining your expertise; we're looking for someone who is passionate about their own development.
Great written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail is key as is making sure your communication is engaging to read/ listen to.
Media experience; editing videos to a high quality.
Experience using different platforms such as SharePoint, Page Tiger and Elucidat is desirable.
Project management skills are key to ensure successful delivery of projects and comms campaigns
