Reporting to the Retail Own Brand Commercial Operations Manager, the Commercial Operations Assistant is responsible for the collation and completion of data which enables products to be sold in International Markets across Retail Own Brands (and where necessary Partnership Brands and Third Party Brands)
The role is responsible for owning the data needs relating to product set up, including accurate and timely completion of Material Creation Forms (MCFs) and the product information database/line list. This role is also responsible for the management of the over labelling process and sampling requirements for International Markets.,
Responsible for the set up and ongoing maintenance of all NPD, RIRO and EPD SKUs taken by IR markets, ensuring data is complete and inputted correctly
Accurate completion and collation of data for Basic and Full MCF
Updating and maintaining the product information database/line list
Proactively build relationships with product, supply, formulation and sourcing to obtain information and complete required data fields
Aware of the International Retail market plans and NPD calendar to ensure data is set up to meet these timings, participating in the stage gate process
Mange the tracking and progress of MCF completion and upload by working with the Master Data team to ensure data is loaded onto SAP in a timely manner to meet project timings and avoid delays to markets
Engage with IR Supply Planners and Customer Partnership so they are aware of SKU set up timings, line list updates and any data issues or delays which could impact market delivery
Supports the delivery of the NPD over labeling process for IR markets
Owns the sampling process for International Retail markets, ensuring efficient and timely dispatch as per customer and project requirements, with necessary documentation completed correctly
Great attention to detail and data accuracy with a right first time mentality
Competent at working with large amounts of data and data gathering
Comfortable completing documentation and repetitive admin tasks
Able to prioritise and manage multiple and competing projects, stakeholders and deadlines
Problem solving & numeracy skills
Strong analytical skills
Competent user of Excel
Able to build relationships with a wide network of stakeholders

International Retail is a cross divisional organization of Walgreens Boots Alliance that is responsible for launch and development of International businesses, outside of US and UK. The organisation is focussed on growing the International Retail footprint, through a combination of owned business, franchise partners and relationships with third party retailers to sell our brands.
From November 2020, International Retail will also take responsibility for the Retail Own Brand, Retail Exclusive Brand and Third Party Props brands UK product selection and delivery to our markets, to provide a varied and credible retail offer for our international customers.
About International Commercial Operations:
International Commercial Operations is a new function, that will form part of the Retail Partnerships structure. The remit of this team will be to provide commercial support to facilitate availability of UK sourced Retail Own Brand products into our international businesses.
International Commercial Operations will play a key role in interfacing with Boots UK Commercial and Product Development teams, Commercial teams in international markets, the international Retail Supply Team and various internal functions to ensure access to the product assortment.
