Job Description

Working within the Commercial team you will be involved in:

  • Providing strategic commercial guidance and support to Partners and bid teams for large or commercially complex bids;

  • Negotiating framework rate cards and commercial incentives at a client account level;

  • Developing progressive pricing strategies for new product and service propositions including technology offerings;

  • Improving commercial diligence in business as usual decisions;

  • Developing the commercial acumen of our people through hands on collaboration and identification of skills gaps and training requirements to maximise commercial performance (. negotiation skills, contingent fee modelling, technology pricing models);

  • Identifying and sharing success stories across the firm to showcase our best commercial behaviours.

  • Contributing to the development of a commercial centre of excellence for our people.

Candidate Description

The successful candidate will have experience in a client facing role and be comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders including high profile individuals both internally and externally. You'll have good commercial awareness, strong business acumen and ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and change., Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven commercial pricing and deal shaping expertise

  • Negotiation strategy and execution capabilities

  • Technology pricing expertise is highly desirable

  • A solid background in commercial contracting principles

  • Experience of working with client Procurement teams

  • Strong financial, business and commercial acumen

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • An ability to challenge and influence a range of stakeholders in a commercial environment
