The Commercial Data Engineering team will be in charge of planning the long-term strategy for the data architecture across Vodafone Business and ensure implementation across the streams in time to enable all business requirements. The Big Data Engineer will play a key role setting up our strategy on the Master Data Management and Data Quality pillars for our B2B customers. As part of the team, you will work closely with IT, Big data and the Architecture team to define the model, integrating data from different sources with the objective of ingesting it into a central cloud repository, ensuring alignment with Tech 2025.
This role will also be responsible for addressing Data Quality in an automated way, applying data cleansing techniques and standardisation rules, providing clear documentation of the business rules developed.
What will you be doing?
Support on the creation of a Vodafone Business Data architecture aligned to our Tech 2025 objective.
Build and maintain a strong future proof MDM, following the CIM model guidance.
Proactively identify new sources and assist on the integration into the model.
Ensure Data Quality process are in place and well documented.
Deep technical knowledge of complex (and simple) data architectures, covering all aspects (compliance, risk, security) of our requirements.
Master Data and Reference data experience through specialised products such as ataccama, IBM Infosphere MDM, Profisee.
Experience with Machine Learning and AI.
Proven track on Data Quality projects.
Excellent senior stakeholder management.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Computer science, ML engineering
Data architecture & strategy
Telco industry experience in EBU
