The Primary focus of this role will be to assist the site and project surveyors in the development and implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting.,

  • Conducting subcontractor procurement exercises to obtain best value for Wates and its client. This would include the production of sub-contractor documentation, produced to Wates framework standards.

  • Building up client quotations, using NHFv7 schedule of rates for submission.

  • Producing and submitting interim and final accounts to the client.

  • Evaluating and certifying Sub-contractor payments through Wates ordering and financial systems.

  • Production and issue of client invoices.

  • Provide daily supervision of the Commercial Administrator, ensuring that tasks are complete.

  • Adhere to Wates industry leading health and safety guidelines.

Candidate Description

We are looking for recent experience of working within Housing Maintenance; some Tier 1 Contractor experience; and experience using Impact Response and COINS (or similar systems).

To be successful in the role you will be able to communicate with all stakeholders and build credible, lasting relationships, and have a good work ethic and the ability to work flexibly, independently and as part of team.
