Job Description

When you join the Developer Services team as an Assistant Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing new connections projects and schemes throughout the project lifecycle, from initial application through to site completion and handover to the customer.

Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and teams across the business, you'll proactively organise resources and manage your projects to cost, time, budget and quality requirements.

Most of your day-to-day work and customer communication will be done remotely, however there will be opportunities to get out and about to visit sites and customers where required. Travelling from place to place couldn't be easier as you'll be given a company car to get yourself around.

What do you need?

You'll have a proven track record of managing multiple, simultaneous projects from end to end, and you'll be ready to apply your excellent organisation skills and workload management. You're a self-starter who's comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

You'll have experience in a similar regulatory environment and be familiar with working to health, safety, environment and quality regulations and industry standards. Water/wastewater or broader utility sector experience is beneficial but not essential.

Crucially, you'll recognise the value and importance of customer service and be able to demonstrate great communication, engagement and empathy when working with customers and stakeholders at all levels.

You will need a full UK driving licence to travel between sites and business locations.
