We’re looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Scaffolder/Rigger to join our Highways team, working on our Forth Road Bridge account

What will this role involve?
Learning the necessary skills and trades, through a combination of formal training and practical experience. Taking responsibility for the safety of yourself to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and safe operation to protect members of the public. You will be working towards a qualification Level of OPITO Rigging Stage 1 and 2 during the apprenticeship The Amey Apprentice scheme encompasses various training schemes under a common umbrella structure. By joining our Apprentice scheme, individuals will embark on a journey that provides them with excellent career development opportunities within this discipline.
Role specific responsibilities
• Installing of bridge access systems • Erecting and using cradles and gantries • Aspects of scaffolding • Working at height • Assisting other tradespersons
