Job Description

The purpose of this role is to build and strengthen key strategic alliances with some of the world's leading technology brands to develop a Strategic Alliance that will focus and accelerate Vodafone strategy across some or all our portfolio including fixed, mobile, cloud, converged and IT. This is a channel sales orientated role which is ideal for a candidate looking to build their general management experience. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of multiple channels to market including' sell to', 'sell through' and 'sell with'.

What will you be doing?

  • Understand the technology industry and align this knowledge with Vodafone UK Enterprise objectives to assist in the development of sustainable strategies for nominated Alliances that will drive mutual revenue/margin growth.

  • Create and manage business plans that underpin these strategies. Likely to span sales, marketing, product and propositions to ensure it can be sold, serviced and operationally delivered in line Vodafone UK Enterprise strategy.

  • Implement and manage local contingency plans to deal with internal/external business issues that impact revenue, cost or margin.

  • With the Alliance, deliver increased penetration/exposure to Vodafone's accounts through the joint identification of new solutions, products or propositions.

  • Act as an advocate on behalf of the Alliances within Vodafone to promote collaboration and a partnership approach.

  • Drive NPS improvement through delivering end to end customer experience through effective Alliance relationships.

Candidate Description

  • Experience of working in a sales, partner or customer environment.

  • Familiar with the 'sell to', 'sell with' and 'sell through' models.

  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence.

  • Strong planning and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience of building relationships preferably with customers/partners.

  • Experience of managing sales programmes, on time and in dynamic environments.
