To be responsible for the efficiency and professionalism of the wash / defect repairs, keeping the fleet functional and roadworthy, whilst also monitoring cost. Maintaining high standards in all key areas: Defect rectifications; breakdown call outs, cleanliness of fleet, wash, fuel pump & storage areas, timely calibration of equipment, tacho & fridge engine data downloads, ensuring service & maintenance schedules are achieved in full and on time, in house defect rectification & preventative maintenance, accurate record keeping to provide audit compliance, regular checks for damage and wear on tear on fleet, on and off hire fleet checks, fuel delivery supervision, on-site maintenance co-ordination. Communicating effectively with own team, external service providers, office staff, shunters, drivers and other sites on a frequent basis.
