As a Warehouse Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of our Warehouse team, leading, managing and motivating a great team to make sure the day-to-day Warehousing and Despatch operation runs smoothly. You'll support and be the right-hand person to the Supervisor who'll need you to ensure team targets and objectives are set and monitored, and all orders filled on time and accurately in line with Food Safety, Health and Safety and legal compliance.

Candidate Description

You'll fit right into Greggs as a Warehouse Team Leader if:

  • You've had some experience of leading a team and love playing an active part in the success of your workmates.

  • You've ideally had experience of working within a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment within the food industry.

  • You're happy talking to a variety of people from different backgrounds and you can discuss your teams results with the Warehouse Manager as naturally as having a chat with your colleagues on the floor.

  • You're good at planning and organising your own work and time, as well as your teams, to make sure targets are met.

  • You have a good level of numeracy and literacy and you're able to follow specific processes and procedures.

  • You know what you're talking about when it comes to using Microsoft Word and Excel and you've had experience working with SAP systems.

  • You are supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good.

  • You are a great team player - respectful and appreciative towards our Greggs Family.

  • You are friendly, honest and hardworking and enjoy some fun at work!
