Job Description

In this position you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Responsible for organisation, loading and unloading of deliveries

• Responsible for checking for damaged or missing items

• Responsible for sorting and storing stock for storage in the warehouse, taking goods to the appropriate storage space, keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly

• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, rotating stock, ensuring that products are stored and labelled correctly, in line with established procedures, using hand-held scanners

• Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation

• Lifting and shifting of products

• Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of warehouse cleaning as part of the daily routine

• Ensure that goods are treated with care at all times

Candidate Description

• Must have experience in a similar position

• Safety boots required

• Pro-active, hardworking and motivated character

• Good working knowledge of Warehouse H&S
