As a Volunteer Development Coordinator you will be responsible for the below:

  • Enhance development of volunteers by creating policies, strategies as well as procedures that will increase engagement of volunteers.

  • Plan and coordinate training, supervision, safeguarding and appraisals for volunteers.

  • Arrange recruitment from start to end, advertise roles and update volunteers of opportunities available.

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders such as multimulti-agency partnerships.

  • Generate data and reports for senior management.

Candidate Description

As a Volunteer Development Coordinator you must have the below: .

  • Must have extensive experience supporting domestic abuse survivors or vulnerable people.

  • Proven knowledge of delivering training and support to volunteers.

  • Experience of working within a charity.

  • Confidence when communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong IT skills e.g Microsoft.
