Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Utilities Coordinator to join our team to work in Birmingham, Balfour Beatty VINCI is recruiting for a Utilities Coordinator to join the Major Structures team in Birmingham. You will be joining a highly experienced team on the UKs most prestigious infrastructure project.
Interact with utility service owners and senior site management regarding utilities
Manage the trial hole investigations to locate unknown utilities.Drive the process from the initial contact to the potential utility owners to the location of these services and the creation and updating of the permit to dig drawings.
Produce stats removal/de-commissioning plan to maximise effectiveness of trial holes and minimise working in the vicinity of live services.
Provide accurate As-Built information to assist the Maintenance Provider of the Network to minimise service strikes during the future maintenance of the scheme.
Liaise with stats bodies regarding timely completion for diverting existing apparatus;
Liaise with relevant teams to ensure stats are removed/diverted outside of work areas.
Collect and forward all survey information relevant to stats diversions and drainage installations to enable the update and review of stats drawings
Previous experience gained in a similar role coordinating utilities, ideally on a major infrastructure project
Knowledge of the construction process in at least one of the following areas: Earthworks/Drainage, Pavement, Comms, Structures, Roadworks.
NRSWA Supervisor accreditation is desirable
