Team Leader, Operations

Job Description

Job Description

Our department is called Test and Document Production. We are a large tribe of colleagues who aim to provide world class coordination and administrative support to enable the production of question papers for our customers worldwide. That's our passion. That's why we're here.

Candidate Description

The position of Team Leader will challenge your organisational, interpersonal and prioritisation skills. Because of this, it will also give you the opportunity to shine, to test yourself and prove how good you can be. Day-to-day you will be prioritising workloads, organising your team and then leading from the front. You will have direct responsibility for a group of administrators and a set of subject specific question papers to manage through the production process, from draft to printing.

The team we are recruiting for is our Humanities team. If you're looking for a role that presents you with targets and gives you the freedom to meet them by shaping and running your team in the way you see fit, then this is the opportunity for you.

About you

As this is an important role that involves taking on responsibility, you will be someone who is ready for a challenge and who would relish the opportunity to prove yourself in a fast-paced, deadline focused environment. You'll need a desire to help others, but also a willingness to ask for help yourself. You'll have a great attitude and will be skilled at building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll need to be a role model for those around you, moulding your team's culture by setting the standard. You'll need the ability to plan from the top, but also the willingness to work alongside your team to make your plans a success.

You'll have the support of an excellent management team who want to see you succeed and who will use their experience to ensure you do. Provided you come with an appetite to learn, and a willingness to work hard to lead your team to further success, we will help you achieve. You could be an experienced manager or someone looking to take their first step into leadership; as long as you've got the passion and drive to build an excellent team, we want to hear from you.
