Talent Acquisition Specialist - 6-12 months fixed term

Job Description

Job Description

We're changing the way we deliver Talent Acquisition at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Our global business is developing at pace, and we're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our friendly Talent Acquisition team, working to embrace this change and drive innovation forward.

Attracting great people with the right values and motivations - as well as relevant skill sets, behaviours, and experience - is pivotal to our pursuit of potential. And as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be at the heart of achieving this, focusing on the sourcing and selection of high calibre internal and external talent.

Delivering a best-in-class service

Taking responsibility for the planning and delivery of end-to-end recruitment campaigns, you'll conduct high quality briefing conversations with hiring managers - asking the right questions to understand requirements, enjoying the freedom to devise the most engaging, tailored, and impactful recruitment strategies. Using your well-honed recruitment experience gained inhouse or agency side, this is an open invitation to advise on best practice - as well as showcasing our Employee Value Proposition across the recruitment lifecycle and into onboarding for successful hires: being the real you every day, in an environment where everyone has the opportunity to share ideas, influence change, and pursue their full potential.

Your opportunity to make an impact

No two days will be the same in this busy and varied role. As well as managing a caseload of campaigns, you'll have the opportunity to support project work across a wide variety of areas such as process improvements, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Employer Branding. And you'll be trusted as one of the faces of the organisation, representing us via social media and - in time - at events, careers fairs and networking activities. Make no mistake, this is your chance to really make an impact; ensuring we recruit a diverse workforce and have the right people in place to deliver for our organisation - being a driving force for change and encouraging us to make a real difference to hiring managers and candidates, by providing the best recruitment experience.

A bit about 'You'

A natural networker, influencer and persuader, you'll be able to engage in-demand passive candidates - as well as connect with active job hunters - to choose us over our competitors for talent. With your experience of using social media to develop brand awareness and build talent pools, you're now ready to build productive and positive relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external providers alike - inspiring confidence at all levels, adding value across everything from attraction and selection to onboarding, taking pride in your caring, creative, and customer-centric approach.
