Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Surfacing Foreperson to join our team to work in Kingsbury

Role Purpose:

Supervise sitewide surfacing operations, ensuring Safe working practices and procedures are adhered to

What you'll be doing

  • Interfacing with the sub-contractor to ensure all operatives are fully inducted/briefed on the Company™s Management systems and are safe to deliver

  • Reporting to Surfacing Project Manager / Agent to keep Information accurate and up to date

  • Sub-contractor supervision / coordinate with Engineers for day-to-day site activities

  • Ensure working areas are prepped and ready before sub-contractor arrives

  • Ensure accurate, legible and up-to-date allocation sheets are recorded and provided at shift close

  • Carry out regular safety and environmental inspections on surfacing sub-contractor

  • Keep a full and accurate daily site diary

  • Ensure the coordination of and communication between all parts of the operation team including suppliers, subcontractors, engineering, safety and environmental team and client™s team

  • Ensure all records for example inspections, works permits and briefings are up to date and in place

Candidate Description

  • Previous supervisory experience with Surfacing activities

  • CSCS Card

  • Previous experience as a Foreperson
