Support Worker

Full-Time - 35 hours per week - Female Support Worker required

Shifts: Required to work on a rota basis, including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.

We are currently recruiting genuinely caring, hands on Support Workers for our purpose built, Adult Residential Service, Bewick House in Darlington, and here we provide care and support to adults with a range of learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including mental health conditions.

Whether you are new to care or have previous experience, your values are much more important to us. We provide a fantastic training and induction programme that will support you in your role.

You'll help the people we support to develop their independence in all aspects of everyday life. This could include; personal care, meal preparation, and taking part in hobbies & activities. You'll be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same.

For Support Workers in this location no experience is necessary as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support.

As this role can be 1-1 support, confidence in lone working is essential. You will need to be flexible to work on a rota basis including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.
