Pay Rate: £10ph
Hours: Full time permanent contracts, needs to be able to drive.

About the Role:

Bronte View is a residential service in Haworth where we will be supporting one individual within their own apartment with specialist behavioural support needs, learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge on a 2:1 basis and 1:1 basis

As a Support Worker you will deliver intense support with all aspects of everyday living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities. You must be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach as this will be a challenging environment to work in, although equally rewarding. You will understand the importance of reflective practice and be involved in debriefs and incident analysis to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individual.

Whilst no two days are the same typically, you'll help the people we support with everyday challenges such as the appointments, maintaining relationships and taking part in hobbies & activities. personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending heal Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are meaningful to the people we support.

Due to the needs of the individual you will be supporting previous experience with autism and/or challenging behaviour is required.

We have 1 position available for a male support worker doing 35 hours per week which includes early and late shifts. The service is in Haworth.
