We have a 12-month student placement opportunity, starting in August 2022. Salary £18,500 + excellent benefits, including 23 days annual leave + bank holidays.

Our Linehaul function is pivotal ensuring that our vehicles are moved across the country from Hub to Station the most effective way to deliver on our customer promise.

What will you be doing?

  • Analysing complex data and turning it into meaningful information for colleagues.

  • Looking at opportunities for cost efficiency and support the Linehaul team executing the required changes.

  • Engaging with locations across the region to plan and execute positive change.

  • Project coordination and support of our integration execution.

  • Offering ideas, new approaches and ways to tackle challenges within the function or specific locations.

  • Offering a valuable "external" view point in discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Candidate Description

  • Studying for a Mathematics, Project Management or Logistics based degree that offers a placement year opportunity

  • Able to demonstrate strong communication skills

  • Have the ability to work using own initiative at times

  • Have strong organisation skills with high levels of attention to detail

  • Be able to think analytically and process data and information

  • The ability to work effectively with different stakeholder groups, In return for your hard work you will receive continuous support from your manager and team, alongside a competitive salary.
