Job Description

Purpose of job: Maintain stocks of a portfolio of materials, which are in line with the inventor policy and meet production

requirements.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of allocated purchased parts to ensure availability to meet production demand.

  • Monitor purchased parts and stock on a continuous basis and reconcile with forward orders and demand to generate appropriate and accurate orders.

  • Expedite and co-ordinate supplier deliveries to meet production demand and ensure the efficient operation of the Stores.

  • Monitor supplier performance and liaise with suppliers and Purchasing to maintain service levels.

  • Undertake administrative work on all transactions on an on-going basis and at the end of each financial period to ensure accurate and timely information for the efficient processing of orders, receipts, issues, adjustments, payment and stock reconciliation.

  • Provide cover for other stock administrator as required to ensure continuity of service.
