Taking an active role in providing operational support to existing data estate.
Continuing to add to the central store of data, connecting to different systems, and creating ETL processes to transform the data as well as making improvements/optimisations to existing processes.
Analysing new requirements to find the most appropriate technical solution and contribute to the overall system design.
Taking responsibility and ownership of new development, documenting designs and communicating them with the team.
Designing and implementing data flows, for accuracy, timeliness, quality and control.
Ability to work as part of a development team with responsibility for the end-to-end development of new and enhanced data feeds, data processes, data layers and reporting.
Previous experience in SQL Developer roles
SQL Server 2012 (and later)
Strong T-SQL skills.
Advance proficiency in MS SQL Server and its fundamentals.
Strong MS SQL Server skills focused on optimisation (query tuning, explain plan, indexes, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structures.
