You will be working with the Area Maintenance Manager to carry out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance work on the building fabric and equipment within our shops, this includes working on a range of catering equipment and refrigeration units and making sure the work is carried out to the highest possible standards.
Your role will involve regular and varied maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, fixtures and fittings, including electrical repairs and modifications. You'll deliver on maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative and predictive maintenance and ensure correct operation and completion of Computer Aided Facilities Management system, including time recording, analysis and development. Everyone who joins us as a Shop Maintenance Engineer is provided with a company vehicle as well as a company tool kit.

You'll fit right into Greggs as Shop Maintenance Engineer if:
You're an apprentice trained electrician or qualified to a minimum of C&G 2365 with a practical electrical background OR You hold a NVQ Level 3 supporting qualification and you're multi skilled in other building trades
You would be interested in learning how to maintain catering/refrigeration equipment
You're able to work unsupervised
Someone who is adaptable and able to think of solutions on their feet.
You have good organisational skills along with the ability to communicate at all levels.
You're computer/PDA literate in Microsoft Excel and Word.
