  • Ensuring the service adheres to the core Housing First for Youth principles in the delivery of support to young people

  • Leading, coaching and developing team members and promoting good practice, competence and confidence within the team

  • Creating a culture of focus on the young person, continuously exploring new opportunities to engage, motivate and inspire young people on a day-to-day basis.

  • Coaching team members to co-produce holistic support plans and strengths-based risk management plans that support young people to make significant progress in their lives and keep themselves safe

Candidate Description

As the Service Manager of the Housing First Service, you will need to have strong leadership, people management and emotional intelligence skills. You will also need excellent communication, organisational and advocacy skills, as well as a strong understanding of Housing First for Youth principles. We are looking for people with experience of leading services for young people or adults with multiple and complex needs, preferably in an outreach or floating support capacity.
