In the role of Service & Operational Support for our clients Central Warehouse you will provide a high level of responsiveness to communication requests from across the operations, sales teams, suppliers, purchasing team, third party logistics providers and customers.

Through dialogue and effective liaison with personnel across the company and service centres, you will be supporting the timely processing of orders and requests. Integral to this role is the effective utilisation of the company internal IT management system to update and accurately process information to maintain both full traceability and timely progression of orders.


  • Responding promptly to all service inquiries received within Central Operations, communicating through a range of functions to provide updated information and solutions

  • Acknowledging and supporting the resolution of service centre complaints relating to service

  • Providing operational support for the processing of information in relation to daily and weekly activities

  • Liaising with operational personnel in the warehouse to ensure orders are processed to requests and providing updates; including customer facing collections.

  • Maintaining updated documentation and records on our bespoke IT management system

  • Communicating and coordinating with external businesses and contractors as necessary.

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward delivering service at all times

Candidate Description

  • Experience working in a supportive customer service role

  • Good efficiency in timely information processing, with a strong level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in information updating.

  • A 'Can-Do' attitude to driving solutions to service requests

  • A good level of interpersonal skills to effectively manage phone calls, emails and face-to-face requests for information updates on orders

  • Previous experience of working with a business IT system to both upload and access information

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with an ability to work with all levels of the organisation internally and externally.
