Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Senior SEO Manager for a 3-6 Month Contract (likely to extend) based Remotely with the option of using a London office.

This is a part-time role, working either 3 or 4 days per week (your preference) with a competitive day rate.

Purpose of the Role:

We're looking for an experienced, Senior SEO Manager to join our growing Content team that sits within the wider Mettle Marketing team on a 3-6- month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone to come in and help drive the success of our content marketing initiatives. You'll take the lead on defining our SEO strategy and support our growth initiatives across our website and marketing campaigns. This means optimising our website and content and working closely with our team to understand what's working and where we can improve. You'll have good knowledge of keyword research and understand search engine behaviour and SEO copywriting. You'll have an interest in analytics with the ability to continuously learn and create content with the changing SEO landscape. You will work closely with our product teams to help refine and improve our CMS capability and help build out content deliverables, such as landing pages and define testing strategies.

As a Senior SEO Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Defining SEO strategy in line with wider content strategy
  • Performing keyword research with a growth mindset and track against content themes
  • Monitoring metrics and regularly prepare and present reports
  • Working with product and marketing teams to build out and refine our content capabilities
  • Developing and implementing landing pages and link building campaigns that tie into our PR strategy
  • Providing recommendations and test messaging to help our content development
  • Regularly conducting competitor analysis

What we require from the candidate:

  • Significant experience and understanding of SEO principles and driving SEO strategy
  • Proven track record in cross-collaborative projects
  • Ability to write fluently in a variety of formats and follow tone of voice guidelines
  • Solid understanding of a range of content strategy techniques across different platforms
  • Interest in web analytics, marketing, and content management systems
