This role is responsible for developing winning B2B coffee propositions, that enable our market teams to launch and scale at pace. It combines leadership of the strategy for proposition development, with collaborative working across multiple departments to bring those propositions to market - across product, innovation, commercial, marketing and operations. The role holder needs to support the business to create new revenue streams, reimagining the way coffee is served and consumed, and capturing white space for Costa., The Senior Propositions Manager is an exciting position where you will be responsible landing new propositions, from idea inception through to development and into BAU.,

  • Define the strategy and vision for the proposition and subsequent development roadmap

  • Define the commercial targets and model for our customers, distribution partners and Costa

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop the holistic proposition, including product, innovation, commercial, marketing and operations

  • Manage relationships with development partners, as appropriate

  • Manage the transition of propositions into pilot and full commercialisation before handing off to BAU.

  • Previous strategy, commercial, marketing or proposition development role

  • Experience in hospitality, retail, foodservice or wholesale

  • Strategic acumen - ability to understand insights, the market (our consumers, customers and competitors), and set a bold roadmap

  • Commercial acumen - ability to interrogate and optimise economics

  • Marketing - ability to develop impactful consumer and customer messaging and activation plans

  • Programme management - ability to coordinate complex cross-functional teams

  • Influencing skills - ability to gain buy-in and alignment with a diverse set of senior stakeholders.
