The Senior Marketing Manager, Global Excellence (interim, 12 month contract) is an experienced operational marketer that champions best practise and builds the organisational foundation that enables our world class marketing.

The Role

A senior role in the Marketing Excellence team, you are at the epicentre of global marketing planning and implementation- creating and delivering the operational infrastructure to align and execute our English marketing plans globally. You facilitate the development and implementation of core marketing processes, capabilities and systems to enable efficient and effective delivery of these plans.

An advocate for best marketing practices across the wider team, you will champion excellence, best practice, and continuous improvement in global marketing activities.

A natural leader, you manage and develop a team of marketing and process improvement experts, enabling them to develop the influence and credibility to deliver in their pan-marketing capacity.

The role requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to lead, manage and work within a team as well as on their own initiative. You will be fundamental to ensuring we achieve our aspiration to be a strategic engine for the business.

Candidate Description

At the core of your experiences to date, you will have a strong track record in designing and delivering successful marketing processes and systems to achieve efficiencies and business impact.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an instinctive collaborator and problem-solver, able to use their excellent interpersonal skills to influence and empower stakeholders to implement improvements in their ways of working.

Essential skills, knowledge and qualifications:

  • Significant experience of marketing, marketing planning and operations

  • Experience of using data and market insights to identify marketing excellence

  • Experience of delivering process improvement

  • A proven record of managing high volume workload

  • Line managerial experience, including recruitment, induction, performance management, learning and development, talent management, career planning, succession and exit
