As Senior Financial Business Partner to the TV & Entertainment team, the post holder will be responsible for programming costs, support on contract renegotiations, operating costs and project investment.

The role holder will lead as the key finance business partner working directly with the Chief Digital Entertainment Officer and other internal partners to provide financial recommendations.

Taking Ownership of the team month end process is crucial alongside consolidating overall results for HOD review. At the heart of this is ensuring content is user friendly and explains key movements.

Ensure programming costs feed into E2E key driver analysis is key to support Customer Lifetime value and product profitability analysis.

In this role you will support the Content Acquisition team on key content negotiations, including working cross functionally to ensure contracts reflect appropriate agreed contractual terms.

At the centre of this role is influencing business decisions. This can be achieved through: effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modelling, with presentation of options and alternatives.

As SFBP, you will review commercial and financial performance with appropriate communication to all partners (Commercial, Financial and Senior Management.)

Candidate Description

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

  • A proven track record to influence decision making at a senior level to inspire change through new insight.

  • Evidence of leading a team.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail with strong analytical skills and experience of working within a Finance function.

  • Previous experience in a media/programming role advantageous

  • Experience of influencing/managing and build relationships across divisions.
