As part of the Data Architecture discipline, you will work closely with business architects, technology architects and business analysts in delivering a comprehensive set of enterprise architecture services.
Operating as a senior-level practitioner, you will provide consultancy input into portfolios, programmes product propositions whilst collaborating with other change teams to make current architectures visible and understandable. You will help to define future architectures that will realise business outcomes, and create architecture artifacts that are clear, concise, and enable better decision making.

We are looking for a highly motivated senior data architect who can work collaboratively across various disciplines, business units, and architecture domains to support the current data strategy workstreams, programmes, projects and product change initiatives. You will be passionate about driving innovation, using your critical thinking skills to find innovative solutions.
The skills and experience we are looking for include:
Effective communication of the data strategy, able to gain buy in, and define the data operating model to support the data strategy to executive/senior management, platform teams, business teams, technology teams and 3rd parties / off-shore partners.
Ability to define and manage strategic information roadmaps to support the business vision and articulate in a clear manner to senior management, business and technology teams.
Strong team leadership, management, and development skills. Able to mentor and coach less experienced team members.
An ability to adapt to new situations, ability to influence, negotiate, facilitate and communicate from the technical specialist to the senior executive in a clear and concise manner.
Experience of working as part of an architecture team to develop and improve the architectural framework, practice, and governance process particularly from a data perspective., Please note that successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory background checks including DBS due to working in a regulated industry.
