We're looking for a hard working Security Risk Officer to join us at Virgin Media O2!

This is a hugely exciting and fast paced role, the outstanding individual that takes up this role will need phenomenal interpersonal skills, a thirst to learn, and will work across all areas of the business to understand our processes, and how security controls can enable us to operate in as secure way.

We'd love you to bring knowledge and operational experience of security risk management and security policy development as you'll act as a Subject matter expert (SME). Collaborating with multiple partners both internally with our parent company, and externally with regulatory bodies and Her Majesties Government (HMG).

Accountable for maintaining the security risk and issues register, you'll ensure that the management of those risks and issues align with the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and the associated security control framework.

Candidate Description

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Demonstrable experience in security risk management and associated methodology and reporting

  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of security risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls

  • Knowledge and experience of security policy development and integration

  • Experience using Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool

  • Ability to evidence analytical and reporting skills
