Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Scrum Master for a 6 months contract based in London or Swindon.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Scrum Master, you'll be aiding a Delivery team to reach decisions on what can be achieved, providing support to the team to create and sustain a productive, collaborative environment.

As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for:

The Scrum Master is an integral role within a team; advising on evolving practice and motivating people to solve their own problems and strive to be the best they can be to enable excellent delivery.

Day to day, you'll be helping your team remove blockers and protect them from influences that may affect their focus so they can work efficiently and proactively. You'll be working with an Agile mindset, influencing the team to deliver business value in every sprint, with the interests of our members at the forefront of all that you do.

Building relationships between stakeholders within the business area is key as a Scrum Master. You'll be liaising with Product Owners and Delivery Leads.

What we require from the candidate:

  • A certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) qualification.
  • Strong experience in agile deliveries.
  • Recent experience of working in a multi-team Agile environment.
  • Proven existing or recent experience of leading as a Scrum Master.
  • Excellent knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks i.e scrum, Kanban, and DevOps.
  • Recent experience with technology changes.
  • Scrum Master experience in financial services.
  • Experience in working with offshore teams.
  • Experience in Cloud AWS technology.

This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
