Reporting to the Finance Transformation Director, this role will take an active part in the Finance Transformation and be a key subject matter expert for Finance on SAP use, enhancement and transformation. Mainly the role will:
Define and deliver, working with key stakeholders, the single ERP integration strategy for Finance and the future roadmap.
Understand and articulate the configuration of SAP and how it is used for Finance processes at CUP&A
Provide finance leadership and vision, together with the Finance systems manager, for future improvements and enhancements and implementations into our overseas branches who are currently outside the SAP ECC landscape.
Ensure that adequate controls and integrity checks are in place within Finance to ensure systems are operating as expected and the right people have the right levels of access and are adequately trained.
The Finance function relies on a number of systems to provide input into the financial records and this role would be expected to assess how to optimise the processes surrounding them. The primary focus is the SAP suite however there are several linked non-SAP solutions.
You will be an experienced senior finance professional, likely to have a professional qualification and/or degree. Experienced in working with SAP, you will have a strong track record in developing and implementing finance systems and in improving finance processes.
Our organisation is experiencing a huge amount of change and you must be comfortable with this, able to shift priorities and solve problems pragmatically, implementing new solutions and managing projects, alongside BAU.
As a key member of the Finance team, you will coach and influence others at all levels, able to interpret for non-technical staff and manage others directly and within a matrix structure.
