As our Risk and Compliance Coordinator, you will be our driver to implement actions and changes that we need to ensure we are compliant with out legal and moral responsibilities around health, safety, environmental and wellbeing requirements. You will be an integral part of Cambridge, providing advice to our teams around quality, risk and business continuity.

This is a great opportunity to support our Group Print and Operations division as you will be involved in the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of a range of management systems, from quality to health & safety. A key focus of yours will be the prevention of accidents, injuries, and ill-health in the workplace.

This role is perfect for someone looking to get into a Risk and Compliance role. With the right attitude and a 'want to learn' we will give you all of the training and support you will need to establish yourself in the role. The Role

You will be our central investigator of any accidents or incidents, reporting them appropriately and recommending actions to prevent reoccurrence. Taking a lead on our Business Continuity exercises, you will manage the documentation to maintain accuracy, and implement a Business Continuity Plan.

An element of teamwork is key to this role as you will be coordinating teams and maintaining training schedules around First Aid, Fire Wardens, Manual Handling and other certifications. As well as your immediate teams, you will be collaborating across the whole of Cambridge to delivery continuous improvement activities within our Management Systems, as well as developing shared training packages.

There will be a lot of "on-the-job" training for this role, as we are really looking for someone who is keen to learn and dedicated to developing. Your day-to-day will be maintaining the management system framework and other associated actions, supporting the use of these systems and development of current standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001, ISO 45001)., We believe that diversity of thought, background, and approach create better outcomes. Candidate Description

Essentially, we are looking for someone with good administration and communication skills, with a "want to learn" and interest in getting into risk & compliance. With the right attitude, we will give you all of the training and support you will need to establish yourself in the role.

If you have any qualifications in Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning, Internal Auditing, or IOSH Managing Safely, this is a huge bonus, but absolutely not essential and we will support you with learning all aspects of the role.

A basic understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management will give you a great foundation for all of the knowledge we will be teaching you.
